About Me
Hello! My name is Justyce Gardner. I am 28 years old and have a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder. I was diagnosed with Autism at 29 months of age following a 47-minute seizure. My story is a very unique one. However, I may have a diagnosis, but the diagnosis does not have me! I live with my mom (Tonia) and my stepdad (Ray). I also have two dogs, Violet and Nova. I really don’t like them as they bark way too much, and my ears are very sensitive to sound. I have a younger sister (Kenedy), a brother-in-law (Travis), a niece (Nora), a nephew (Bodhi) and two step-brothers (Sam and Quinton). We live in Kansas City, MO, and I have lived here my entire life. I attend a day program called Exceptional Humans, and I love going there to see my friends four days a week. I also love my day off, which is every Wednesday. I went to middle and high school at Milestones Academy, which is a school for special needs individuals. My homeschool was Oak Park High School, and I did walk with my graduating class of 2015. I ended my schooling at Milestones in 2018, when I turned 21. In my spare time, I love to go bowling, sight-seeing around our city, hang out at Crown Center and I really love going to Menards, Five and Below, The Sandbox and Rush. I also like to play games on my Ipad, listen to a variety of music and entertain people who come over to our house. One of my passions is photography. I started taking pictures years ago when my grandparents, Rex & Judy Gardner, started a non-profit organization called The Vintage Car Rally Association. This association hosted and ran car rallies around the US to spread autism awareness and raise funds. My grandparents donated over $1,000,000.00 in 15 years to Autism programs around the US. Unfortunately, my grandfather passed away in 2019 and the association was closed down. I really miss my grandfather and the times we spent together. My love for photography grew from there. I really enjoy capturing landscapes, portraits, streets, nature, architecture and I enjoy vlogging all I see. My pictures are unique because it’s how I see the world. It’s my view of life and I have the freedom to edit and be very creative with each photo I take. I LOVE sharing my pictures with my family, friends and you! I love to make people happy and smile.
